Cat Toilet Training - Step 2

Well, Kiki has been doing well with using the CitiKitty for the past few days, so today I initiated stage 2 of the training sequence. There is now a hole in the center about 1"x1.5". We put her up on the CitiKitty after punching out the hole, she explored it, stuck her paw down in it as far as she could reach, and got it wet, then jumped down off the toilet. I'm hoping this isn't enough to scare her away from using the CitiKitty. It'll be interesting to observe her throughout the day today.

Aww...it's a no go. She didn't like the change we made, so she pooped on G's floor. We covered the hole with tape, and she's back to pooping on the Citikitty. We'll try again, with an even smaller hole in a week or so.

A Name!

We have FINALLY decided on a name for our kitten! From this day forward she shall be known as Kiki. After all that deliberation, we finally came back to the name G-man had originally chosen.

Also, an exciting little side note: We bought a CitiKitty cat toilet training kit and it arrived yesterday. This morning Kiki had her first successful poop on the toilet! I really hope the CitiKitty works for us! It would be SO NICE not to have a litter box at all!

New Kitty

Yesterday we finally got a kitten! G-man was so excited! He loves his little kitty and wants to name her Kiki. We'll see. She was born on March 8th, so is 8 weeks old. She is a little snuggle love! She's definitely a lap kitty. When she can't find us, she cries. She is just so sweet, and G-man and I already love her. I'm not sure about Daddy yet. :-)
